Bobby Wright has been in the renewable energy industry since 2012, working in all areas of solar PV and BESS service. Starting at the residential solar in sales operations for two years before moving to oversee the Northeast area for utility interconnection and Incentive programs. Bobby moved to oversee all the utility interconnection, renewable incentive energy programs and contract operations nationally. Moved over to DSD to enter the commercial and industrial space for PV, BESS and EV interconnection and incentive programs since 2021.

In his role as Programs Manager, Bobby oversees DSD’s Interconnection team, energy incentive team and Federal filings. With nearly 12 years of renewable energy experience specifically in the utility interconnection and energy incentive programs area he has become an expert in these areas.

Prior to joining DSD in 2021, Bobby led Interconnection, Incentive and sales operations teams for Vivint Solar, and Sunrun.

Bobby earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Utah Valley University. Bobby lives in Vineyard Utah with his Wife Caitlin, and three sons Ben, Tommy and Matt.
