Chetna Smith has over 15 years of utility experience and currently oversees Southern California Edison’s Demand Response portfolio comprised of over 1,020 MW with over two million participating customers. She provides thought leadership of the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of existing and new programs for residential and non-residential customers while also contributing to DR policy and helping the state meet its clean energy goals & objectives. Chetna’s passion for ensuring a positive customer experience and continuous improvement approach has significantly contributed to SCE’s DR portfolio growth during the capacity challenges experienced in recent years. She brings this same level of passion and commitment to her lead role on the Customer Service culture team to continue building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workforce. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling around the world with her husband, playing soccer and practicing yoga.
