Emily Slack
Emily has worked at National Grid since 2010, starting as an engineer in Distribution Planning and Asset Management’s Integrated Planning department, performing long-term planning studies to inform distribution system investment recommendations. In 2016, she became a manager within Distribution Planning and Asset Management for the southern part of National Grid’s Massachusetts territory. Her team is responsible for identifying and resolving near-term system performance concerns, including the study of load and DER customer requests. Emily completed her undergraduate studies at Smith College in 2009 with a degree in Engineering Science. She has since completed a Masters of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Emily is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts.
