Jared Satrom is an Energy Markets Manager for Voltus, where he leads a team deploying Voltus’s technology-enabled Distributed Energy Resource (“DER”) platform, which connects Voltus’s customers and technology partners in CAISO territory to the value that they can extract from a variety of demand response programs, while contributing to a more resilient and decarbonized electric grid.

Mr. Satrom is an expert in energy management with 13 years of industry experience. Before Voltus, Mr. Satrom was Principal Mechanical Engineer in the Utilities division of Energy Management at the University of Minnesota where he was responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the chilled water utility plants and systems on campus along with supporting other utility and building automation systems. His experience also includes time in engineering consulting with a focus on nuclear power plant design.

He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, and a Professional Engineering license in the State of Minnesota
