As Director, Commercial Development and Business Strategy, Sandra oversees EVLO’s commercial strategies, mainly on the US and Canadian markets. True to her collaborative approach, Sandra leverages her knowledge of the energy sector to develop partnerships with clients, while exploring new markets in this rapidly evolving industry.

Prior to joining EVLO in 2023, Sandra has spent close to 20 years at Hydro-Quebec where she started on the energy and commodities trading floor. She then took on growing responsibilities, including strategic planning for unregulated activities, managing the quantitative analysis group, negotiating and managing several long-term power purchase agreements and tolling transactions for clean energy with large utilities in the US northeast.

A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Sandra has developed her acute business acumen earlier in her career while working in risk finance and mergers and acquisitions.

Sandra holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from HEC Montreal and a Master in Finance from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
