Steven Rymsha joined Sunrun's policy team as Director of Grid Solutions in early 2016.  He brought more than 10 years of experience with clean energy planning, integration, interconnection, and operations to the Sunrun team.  Steven began his career in fossil generation in Massachusetts and California before transitioning to clean energy planning and  interconnection roles at Maui Electric and Kauai Island Utility Cooperative.  He has also managed a fleet of 175 MW of utility scale renewables including a 10MW/20MWh battery in Hawaii.  Steven is an active participant in regulatory proceedings and national working groups focused on interconnection, advanced inverters, storage, power system planning,  and grid services.
