Our team and our vendors are committed to mitigating environmental impacts whenever and wherever we hold GridTECH Connect Forum today and in the future.
Where possible, we look to limit the environmental impact our event has and to be as sustainable as possible with logistics transportation, venue energy sources, and waste management, food and depot waste, and the display material we use throughout the event. We offer our attendees the ability to purchase carbon offsets to reduce their own impact on carbon emissions and allow exhibitors to sign a sustainability pledge securing their commitment to their own sustainability standards.

CARBON OFFSETS
Carbon offsets let you help build projects in communities across the country that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions beyond what you can achieve through individual action. Through registration, we offer the ability to purchase carbon offset credits to fund these projects and diminish the impact of your own GHG emissions, even though the projects are located elsewhere. Plus, contributors will receive a special icon on their badge to indicate their donation.
CLARION CARES
Clarion understands the important role communities play in helping host our live events, and we want to return the favor to global and local communities that host and are touched by our live events.
FOOD DONATIONS
Together with the Orange County Convention Center, we will ensure that extra food and promotional items do not go to waste by donating to local organizations. Sodexo Live! works to donate any unused or surplus of food items to local organizations like Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Orlando Union Rescue Mission.
